Bikram Yoga, also known as Traditional Hot Yoga, works the body from the inside out, from the micro to the macro level. Each posture stretches and strengthens the specific muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture.
People of any age and condition can do this yoga. Some students with acute illnesses have been cured of chronic disease like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and chronic back pain as a result of their Bikram Yoga practice.
Many athletes including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and John McEnroe attribute lack of injuries and longevity in their sport to this yoga. Professionals say it gives them mental clarity and increased energy, helping them to excel in their fields. All Bikram Yoga students agree that it helps them look and feel great, lose weight and reduce stress. It is the perfect blend of strength, flexibility and balance.
The important thing to know about this class is that no instruction is offered and therefore not as beginner-friendly as the famous Bikram yoga class. It is led by a teacher in a "follow the leader" format and is accompanied by music. This class is the exact same sequence as the famous Bikram yoga class with some poses grouped together to provide a shorter class with a more aerobic feel. Not recommended for first-time students, although beginners are never turned away!
FUNDAMENTALS OF FLOW
This slower yet challenging class breaks down the fundamentals of a vinyasa style yoga practice, focusing on safe alignment in traditional sun salutations, balancing and strengthening poses, as well as transitions with breath. Great for beginner students, yet also helpful for advanced practitioners to return to these foundations at any point in their journey.
Flanked by traditional sun salutations, i.e. Downward Dog, Plank, Chaturanga, Upwarddog poses, linking breath with movement, this class creates a mind-body yogic workout. The sequence and pace will depend on the teacher. You will flow, sweat, strengthen and breathe.
RESTORE & RENEW
Restore & Renew emphasizes static stretching and stimulates deep connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This style of practice is not only therapeutic for the body, it also allows for a calming of the mind and spirit. By drawing the student’s awareness away from the muscles and deeper into the bones, a profound level of relaxed focus is achieved. Beginner to intermediate class.

YOGA SCULPT VINYASA
Boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass as you move to upbeat tracks. This class uses vinyasa movements and resistance exercises for increased muscle endurance. You’ll combine free weights with yoga sequencing and cardio while mixing in strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls. You will build strength, stamina, and flexibility while moving from one pose to the next!
