HOT 26 (aka Bikram) INSTRUCTED

Hot 26 (aka Bikram) Yoga, also known as Traditional Hot Yoga, works the body from the inside out, from the macro to the micro level. Each posture stretches and strengthens the specific muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture.

This yoga series consists of a sequence of 26 physical postures done twice on each side, beginning and ending with 2 different breathing exercises in each class so you can develop awareness and appreciation for how you develop and grow, both physically and mentally, throughout your practice.

Many athletes attribute improved performance and reduced risk of injury to hot yoga. Professionals say it gives them mental clarity and increased energy, helping them to excel and find ultimate balance. Many yoga students agree that this practice helps them reduce stress and feel great, on the inside and out! This class is taught in our Solar Room at 105 degrees/ 40% humidity and is 75 or 90 minutes in length.

HOT 26 (aka Bikram) BEATS

The important thing to know about this yoga class is that no instruction is offered and therefore is not a beginner-friendly class.  It is led by a teacher in a "follow the leader" format and is accompanied by music. This class is similar to the famous Bikram yoga series with some poses grouped together to provide a shorter class with a more aerobic feel. Not recommended for first-time students due to limited amount of verbal instruction, although beginners are never turned away! This class is taught in our Solar Room at 105 degrees/ 40% humidity and is 65 or 75 minutes in length.

HOT 26 FLOW

This variation of our Hot 26 classes is an instructed class with the teacher also demonstrating postures. It includes the original 26 postures (Bikram Series) with music and creative flow. Variations to the original postures may be offered in the second sets along the way, as well as added core work. Suitable for beginner to experienced practitioners and allows for modification and rest as needed. This class is taught in our Solar Room at 105 degrees/40% humidity and is 75 or 90 minutes in length.

HOT VINYASA

This class is taught as a true all levels yoga workout for both the mind and body! You will notice familiar Vinyasa poses that take into consideration strength and mobility, often linked together with breath to create a dynamic cardio experience.

Provides an overall full body yoga experience where you will feel challenged, supported, sweaty and stretched. This class is done in a room heated to 95 degrees/40% humidity and can be 60 or 75 minutes in length.

HOT BARKAN VINYASA

This Hatha/Vinyasa style class is based on Jimmy Barkan’s Method of Hot Yoga, consisting of five Vinyasa flows that integrate many of the familiar postures in the Original Hot 26 series. This class is dynamic and challenging but suitable for all levels. Since it is a fairly set sequence of flows, new practitioners will quickly acclimate and experienced practitioners will be able to explore the depths of their practice and variations more easily. This class is heated to 100 degrees/40% humidity and is 60 or 75 minutes in length

HOT H.I.I.T. (HIGH-INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING)

This warm High-Intensity Interval Training class is a total body workout designed to increase metabolism, build lean muscle mass, and improve heart health. You will begin with power vinyasa-style full body warm up, followed by a fast-paced 30 minutes of upper-body, lower-body, and core focused training, ending with lengthening yoga poses on your mat. Instructors are knowledgeable in exercise physiology and provide modifications to meet the needs of each participant in this all levels class!

This class is high energy, challenging AND accessible- YES, YOU CAN do this class whether a beginner or experienced in this type of training. All exercises can be modified, keeping your body safe and strong. We honor listening to your body, resting and pushing your edge, all on your terms, when you choose.

VIN/YIN

Experience the perfect balance of movement and stillness in our Vin/Yin class. This unique practice combines the dynamic flow of Vinyasa with the deep, meditative postures of Yin Yoga. Flow through a series of postures to build heat, flexibility, strength through mindful, fluid movements. Transition into the calming, meditative pace of Yin, where you will hold deep, passive stretches to release tension. Ideal for all levels, this class nurtures both the body and mind, leaving you balanced and rejuvenated. 95 degrees with added humidity.

WARM YIN

Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones, and is slower and more meditative. This gives you space to turn inward and tune in to both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.  Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, Yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-targeted tissues. It also teaches you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts. This is a great compliment to our more typical Yang practices like Hot 26 and Hot Vinyasa Classes!
