Special Guest Instructor: Glenn Brown

Glenn has been teaching Bikram Yoga since 2002 at Bikram Yoga Southern Indiana. He participated in Bikram Yoga Teacher Training, back when it was still in LA. He loves teaching Bikram, but has enjoyed the Advanced class, aka "Classic 84", for the development of his own practice since the beginning and has kept it in his practice since 2002. In 2003 he competed in the first International Yoga Championship, and has participated on some level as either competitor, coach, or judge every year since. He is the 2018 National Yoga Champion for the adult men's division and placed 4th in the 2018 International Yoga Championship. In 2018 he also re-certified to be a judge, and coach for the Yoga Championship in 2019 & thereafter. Prior to winning Nationals, he was the Indiana Regional Champion for 15 years.

Glenn's yoga journey began as a personal practice developed to warm up & down for his private Kung-fu practice. In High School, while dealing with depression, he found arts to be his best coping mechanism. He was an avid swimmer & wrestler growing up, and in the last years of high school he left school sports behind for the physical arts of Kung-fu, Yoga, and meditation. In 2001 he received 100-hour certification in Hsing-I Kung-fu, Qigong, and Acupressure in England from the Red Dragon School of Martial Arts. The next year he received his 500-hour certification at the Bikram Yoga teacher training. Since then he has also Certified in Sun style Tai Chi and done the home study course with the Self Realization Fellowship.

His Kung-fu teacher, Keith Dwan, encouraged him to both continue working on his private practice, and to continue to learn new forms & styles. Glenn made this his life Philosophy, and has continued to research & learn, leading to establishing his own Yoga style, Lionflow Yoga, based on his private practice, and opened his own studio now named "Array Yoga", as home for Lionflow Yoga, Classic 84, and the other classes he has personally formatted for the accredited Yoga & Tai Chi classes he teaches at IUS, where he has been an Adjunct Professor since 2016. His studio also leaves the doors open for other teachers & styles, with a mission of contributing to a healthier wellness community. He looks forward now to helping the next generation of students, teachers, and competitors reach toward their true potential safely. Focusing on sportsmanship, and the extraordinary therapeutic qualities of Yoga, to lead beyond the veil of superficiality.

Special Guest Instructor: Kara Price

Kara spent her past life in Chicago teaching at a Pilates studio. One of her fellow teachers & dance friends encouraged her to take an Ashtanga Level 2 class, suggesting that Kara would be fine despite her lack of experience. Kara quickly learned what "fine" really meant. The class was intense, but she fell in love with the practice.

In 2006, she started her teacher training at a Vinyasa studio in NYC. Since then, she has received a Restorative certification with Judith Lasater, finished a Yoga pre- & post-natal certification in Miami, and completed 100-hours immersed alongside Sianna Sherman with Anusara, among others.

Through all of this dedication to her personal development, she also finds time to be an amazing mom. If Kara could have any superpower, she would want the ability to be in two places at once. That way, she could spend more time with her two boys and kick more people's booties in the studio. It would also allow her the ability to follow her ultimate dream: teaching workshops and becoming more integrated in the Pilates teacher-training world.
