Class Descriptions

Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class, a specific sequence of 26 poses performed with emphasis on Bikram's copywrited alignment instructions.

The same class as above, but with music and NO INSTRUCTION from a teacher. Performed in a "follow the leader" format. Not suitable for first-time students.

These challenging flow-style classes are based in the practice of Surya Namaskara, or sun salutations, that form the bridge to connect poses. The student moves almost continually through the class with breathing cues. Due to the nature of the class the heat is turned down considerably to warm. Styles vary with each teacher.

A traditional approach to bring balance and tranquility to both mind and body by emphasizing deep breathing techniques with slow and controlled postures.

A highly energetic, faster-paced class that challenges strength, flexibility and cardio. It fuses elements of Traditional Hot Yoga and Vinyasa and into one format with popular music.

This one hour morning class will get it done, emphasizing core strength, sculpting arms and legs. Style of class varies with the teacher, while the focus remains the same.

A quiet, meditative-style class using hip-openers and passive backbends (all seated poses) to penetrate the lower body's connective tissue and open the yin meridians. Students develop an ability over time to "be with themselves" in somewhat compromising positions.
